SMALL & LOCAL BUSINESS IS BIG BUSINESS ONLY CLOSER.
Let me double down on that statement by adding they are infinitely more an intimate partner in our communities than chain stores will ever be. I'm not throwing shade, merely stating facts.
We love chain stores. Luxury brands with brow raising prices for some are even better. So why can't we show the same love, support, and customer loyalty to businesses right around the corner?
The answers are as individual as fingerprints, but reasons why all of us should do more to support them are clear.
Take a look at some positive impacts that occur when we support small and local businesses.:
Creates employment opportunities
Encourages others to follow their dreams (business ownership)
Increases revenues - toward community improvements
Provides a variety of unique products and services
Access on insight into a brand's practices and affiliations
Before you state the obvious, let me. I might be a bit lighthearted on the subject because I identify with the category. Just call me a subject matter expert, as I benefit from the amazing support and inspiration from many small and local business owners encouraging me to live my dreams doing what I love for a living. All I'm saying is consider small and local businesses the next time you need to make a purchase. Those businesses and your community will thank you for it.
So true; money re-circulates locally when purchases are made at locally owned businesses.
